Room HireRomsey Mill Centre is a multipurpose resource designed with the community in mind.
With meeting rooms, sports hall, creative arts, café style area, kitchen and children's activity spaces, a wide range of events are well catered for at competitive rates. A local community rate is also available.
In addition to the original large ground floor rooms, which have been revitalised, we have four new rooms available for hire on the 1st and 2nd floors.
The ground and first floors have full disabled access.
Community HallA bright and cheerful room perfect for children's parties or social events. The community hall can accommodate up to 100 people, or even a small bouncy castle! It includes kitchen facilities and en-suite children's toilets. Some play equipment can be supplied upon request.
Jordan RoomA spacious area suitable for meetings, parties or social gatherings for children and/or adults. With a large kitchen area, and café style tables & chairs the room will comfortably seat 50.
Sports HallIdeal for sports, performing arts, or entertainment events, this large space includes a new fully sprung floor, high ceilings and excellent acoustics and ventilation. With a seating capacity of 175 it is also ideal for large public meetings and children's parties.
Activities RoomIdeal as an annex to the sports hall, this fully-equipped kitchen enables you to provide refreshments. It can also be used for meetings or activity-based learning for small groups, seating around 12 people.
Rose Room (NEW!)Well suited to meetings, training, tutorials etc., this room has a capacity of 15 (classroom style) or 10 (boardroom style). With hearing loop and lift to the first floor it is fully accessible by all. Includes access to a kitchenette.
Phenna Room (NEW!)Similar to the Rose Room (above), this room seats 21 (classroom style) or 18 (boardroom style). The two rooms can be hired together as a suite for group sessions.
Creative Arts (NEW!)Up on the second floor, with a view down into the sports hall, is the new creative arts suite. This relaxed space is ideal for informal groups and for creative arts such as music and video. It could also be set up as a meeting room with a capacity of 20 (classroom style) or 14 (boardroom style). (Picture to follow) Recording Studio (NEW!)With soundproof voice booth, excellent recording equipment and expertise, and competitive and local community rates this exciting new resource is unrivalled this side of Cambridge.
