Christmas Appeal 2020: “Strength for today – Hope for tomorrow”

2020 has been a year of particular challenge and difficulty for everyone.

In Cambridge (the UK’s most unequal city) and other places where Romsey Mill works, the situation for many young people, children and families who were already facing challenge in their lives, has been made worse because of the impact of the pandemic and lockdown restrictions. The issues we have encountered include increased social isolation, poor mental health and wellbeing, increased anxiety, lower aspirations, and a loss of confidence and hope for the future.

By being with them, listening to them and showing them that they are valued and loved and that they have great ability; we have helped them to feel stronger, more resilient in the face of what this year has brought.

We are helping them to look forward, into an uncertain future, but more positively and with greater hope, meaning and purpose!

Please consider making a donation to our appeal and joining with us as we seek to provide young people, children and families with #strength4today and #hope4tomorrow.

Thank you
