Is Neil ready for his Ultra-Marathon Challenge?

< Back to listing

This Saturday (19th October) Neil Perry, our CEO, is attempting to run a double-marathon in one day across the not so famous '23 peaks' of Cambridgeshire!

Starting at the lowest land lying position in Great Britain, at Holme Fen in Cambridgeshire, Neil Perry will cover 23 ‘peaks’ across the county (52 miles), coming through Cambridge and ending at the highest point in Cambridgeshire at Great Chishill.

Back in April, when this unique challenge was decided for him by vote from the general public, he was excited by the venture. The reality is now kicking in and he feels daunted but determined to complete the route.

Neil says, “I am feeling trepidation and excitement as the day draws near. I just can’t wait until it’s all over…please keep the support coming!”

Can you support Neil along the way with encouragement and your wonderful presence at various points? We really would love people to join Neil and welcome him along various stages of the route. It's going to be an unbelievably tough challenge and you can make all the difference.

There is a route map and schedule you can follow and there will be live updates throughout the day.

Neil hopes to raise £3,450 to help keep the sails of the Mill turning.

Please encourage Neil and help him reach his target for Romsey Mill at:
