Twelve Days of Christmas - a story for the eleventh day...

< Back to listing

Over December, we need your support to raise £12,000 to help young people facing challenges at school, at home or in the community. Together we can give them a fresh start in 2015 - learning new skills, growing in confidence and fulfilling their potential.  Here is a story about how Romsey Mill provides hope, transformation and second chances for young people:

Living in Arbury, 13 year old Kelly* joined a girls boxing group having previously had issues with aggression and getting into trouble at school.  She is really excelling at the sport, and the coach is praising her progress.  This recognition and sense of achievement has improved Kelly’s behaviour and outlook to the extent she is no longer on report at school, and she has been invited to the main boxing group to pursue the sport even further.
