Vacancy - South Cambridgeshire Youth Development Worker - Aspire (autism)

SOUTH CAMBRIDGESHIRE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKER – ASPIRE (autism)

Permanent Contract

Hours: Part-time 30hpw (but we will consider full-time hrs, 37.5 if preferred)

Salary range:  £23,620 - £26,357 (FTE, pro-rata for part-time)

Closing date: Thursday 21st September 2023, 5pm

Interview: Thursday 28th September 2023

This is an exciting opportunity to invest in the lives of autistic young people (aged 9-19). You will pioneer new work in Northstowe and the surrounding area as well as supporting the existing provision in Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire, supporting young people’s emotional wellbeing and helping them to overcome challenge and develop social skills. You will work as part of a team of youth workers and volunteers to develop and deliver weekly social groups, shared interest groups, one-to-one work, family support, school-based alternative education, and trips and residential experiences.
