Get involved Work for us Vacancy - Young Fathers Development Worker YOUNG FATHERS DEVELOPMENT WORKER Young Parents Programme (YPP) Salary - £23,620 to £27,852 Short fixed-term contract, with possible extension Working hours: Flexible, happy to discuss NOTE: If you are interested in applying for this role please contact Judith Cork, Young Parents Programme Coordinator [email protected] As part of a team, you will provide intensive personal, social, educational and parenting support to young parents equipping them and their children for positive futures. This will include one-to-one support, home visiting; groups and courses for young fathers, that enable them to overcome disadvantage, and develop personal, social and spiritual wellbeing. You will also be involved in sharing good practice and training other professionals across the county in engaging and supporting young fathers. In the last year the Young Parents Programme (YPP) has supported over 70 families. 30 of those families were couples or co-parenting and YPP were working with both parents. The remaining 40 parents were a mix of young mums and young dads who were accessing support as individuals (regardless of their relationship status).
