About Romsey Mill

Romsey Mill is a Cambridge-based charity, creating opportunities with young people, children and families across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We work to overcome disadvantage, challenge injustice and promote social inclusion.

We were founded in 1980 by five Cambridge churches, and we have been rooted in the same community ever since. Our work is long term, relational and needs-led. A Christian ethos underpins everything we do, expressed through social action, and we serve every young person and family regardless of their own position on faith.

Last year, 2,107 young people were regularly engaged with Romsey Mill. These pages introduce the people behind that work, how the charity began, and how we are governed and funded.
