Addressing anxiety

Many people are experiencing anxiety in the context of all that our world is currently facing. However, for autistic people, who are more prone to be anxious than others, this is amplified.
Positive support for young people

There are over 120 young people aged 16 – 25 living in supported housing in hostels near Mill Road in Cambridge. Romsey Mill has been developing to support young people who are living in three local hostels.

Pre-school

Our Early Years programme includes two pre-school locations for 2 - 4 year olds.
Young parents

The Young Parents Programme is a leading provider offering support and friendship for teenage and young people in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire. The support includes home visits, individual support, antenatal classes tailored for young parents, peer support and child development, education and further training.
Community facilities

Romsey Mill has various community rooms and facilities available for hire at Romsey Mill Centre (the charity's own building) and at Ross Street Community Centre.
Vacancy - Youth Development Worker (Yaxley)

We are advertising for a Youth Development Worker for St Peter's Church in Yaxley, which sits on the borders of The Fens, Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. This is for a youth worker able to work with young people aged 11-18 years old, comfortable working in both the church and the skate park (and everything in between!)

Training

We are passionate about empowering passionate people to provide good quality youth work. We deliver accredited training in Level 2 and Level 3 Youth Work Practice, which is suitable for current and future youth workers to develop new skills and gain qualifications.
Young parents' Bronze Arts Award success

Romsey Mill’s young parents have successfully achieved their Bronze Arts Awards, having completed a course delivered in partnership with the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council.
