Why volunteer?

Why volunteer with Romsey Mill?

Volunteers are involved in every aspect of Romsey Mill's work and are a very important part of our community.  Whether you are an individual or an organisation, we have a range of volunteer opportunities to suit availability, skills and interests.

So, if you fancy helping at a youth group, learning to make lattes, use your flair for fashion or love excel, we have opportunities in numerous locations in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire.

Many volunteers come to us to gain valuable work experience in an area that they are interested in. There are many other benefits of volunteering, including being part of a team, making new friends and increased confidence.

The benefit to Romsey Mill is huge and nothing is more fulfilling than knowing you are making a difference.

We have over 100 volunteers providing their time and skills each year and making a difference to children, young people and families.

Some volunteers support our work on a regular basis, becoming part of our team to support weekly groups and activities. We also have opportunities for volunteers to support one off activities, such as fundraising events, holiday activities or practical projects (such as gardening or spring cleaning) if you are unable to commit to a regular volunteering activity but want to give back to your community in some way.

If you would like to be part of our team, make new friends and be a part of our work whilst also having fun, please get in touch on 01223 213162 or [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you!
