Rose Room

The Rose Room is a meeting room that measures 4m x 3m and can hold up to 8 people boardroom style.

This is a light room with a large skylight window and is often used for tutoring and counselling sessions. There is a hearing loop available in this room.

The Rose Room is on the second floor of Romsey Mill Centre.

Supporting Grassroots Youth Work

Romsey Mill’s Youth Development Team engages with about 2,000 young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. As well as delivering vital community-based youth development work in Cambridge, South Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Romsey Mill also partners with smaller, local grassroots youth organisations.
Aspire launches in Peterborough

Autistic children and young people are brave, brilliant and creative, but they can often face significant social and sensory challenges, leading to anxiety and isolation. Through ‘Aspire’, Romsey Mill has been delivering youth clubs and developing support for autistic children and young people for nearly 20 years in and around Cambridge. And Romsey Mill has just started its first Aspire group in Peterborough.

Phenna Room

The Phenna Room is a meeting room, measuring 6m x 4m, and can hold up to 15 people boardroom style, or 20 people theatre style.
Activities Room

The Activities Room was refurbished in 2021 and now has 2 fully fitted working stations either side complete with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer and many other small kitchen appliances. There is a dining table and chairs for up to 4 people.
Jordan Room

The newly renovated Jordan Room measures approximately 10m x 5m, with a fully equipped kitchen, projector and screen, and is a superb space for meetings, workshops or social gatherings.
Community Hall

Our Community Hall measures 10m x 6.5m and can seat 50 people (theatre style). It is used for playgroups and by yoga and community singing groups.
Sports Hall

Our Sports Hall is 16m x 10m with a wooden sprung floor and markings fort basketball, badminton and five-a-side football. It can also seat 200 people (theatre style).

Aspire

Aspire delivers youth clubs and support, in and around Cambridge, for autistic children and young people, in mainstream education (Year 5 and above).

Youth Development Team

Romsey Mill's Youth Development Team engages with young people (aged 10 - 21 years) across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, to help them live fulfilling lives and inspire change in the world around them.
Cara Coffee

Cara Coffee is a social enterprise run through a partnership with Great Shelford Free Church to support the work of Romsey Mill. The coffee shop on 29 High Street, Great Shelford, is run by amazing volunteers, and is a community hub serving delicious ethically sourced coffee, drinks and food.
Pre-school

Our Early Years programme includes two pre-school locations for 2 - 4 year olds.
Community facilities

Romsey Mill has various community rooms and facilities available for hire at Romsey Mill Centre (the charity's own building) and at Ross Street Community Centre.
Young parents

The Young Parents Programme is a leading provider offering support and friendship for teenage and young people in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire. The support includes home visits, individual support, antenatal classes tailored for young parents, peer support and child development, education and further training.
Training

We are passionate about empowering passionate people to provide good quality youth work. We currently offer training for the Level 2 Award in Youth Work Principles (running from Monday 26th February- Monday 10th June 2024), which is suitable for current and future youth workers to develop new skills and gain qualifications.
